Our Company

Zijlmans shipyard was founded in 1989, in the south of the Netherlands. Founder of the company and also general manager mr. Marcel Zijlmans- started the company as a one- man business. Today the company has expanded to an impressive business with a team of enthusiast employees, together they guarantee you a good and solid Dutch craftsmanship.

Since the beginning, the shipyard is specialised in the building of steel motor yachts. The first years we produced only steel hulls, but now we work together with hull/superstructure builders and yacht painters who are all specialised in their own skills.

This all under the supervision of Zijlmans Shipyard. From the first concept drawings till the launching of a ship. The company has expended now till a leading shipyard in the Netherlands of 4500m2.This includes a carpenter workshop and two construction/repair shops and a 32 tons rail crane service.
